Shipping and delivery
nixomarket is a classifieds site: the buyer and the seller agree on delivery between themselves. We do not carry parcels and we do not hold the money for items.
For buyers
- Each ad for sale shows a Delivery box: local pickup, the countries the seller ships to, the shipping cost and how fast the parcel is sent.
- Agree on the price and the shipping cost in a message before you pay, and ask for a tracking number.
- For local pickup, meet in a public place and check the item before you pay.
- Use Ships to and Local pickup in the search filters to see only ads that can reach you.
Parcels between the EU and the UK (or other non-EU countries)
Parcels between the European Union and the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway or other non-EU countries go through customs, even small ones. The buyer may have to pay import VAT, duty or a handling fee to the carrier when the parcel arrives. Ask the seller about it before you buy.
For sellers
- Tick your delivery options when you post the ad: local pickup, shipping in your country, other countries, cost and dispatch time.
- You choose the carrier. Online services such as Packlink, Sendcloud or Eurosender compare carriers across the UK and Europe and sell labels online; you can also use your national post or a courier (for example Royal Mail, Evri, DPD, GLS, DHL or UPS). nixomarket is not connected with these companies.
- Pack the item well, keep the proof of postage and send the buyer the tracking number.
- For parcels to or from the UK and other non-EU countries, fill in the customs declaration (CN22/CN23) with the real contents and value. Most carriers do this online when you buy the label.
- Check the carrier's rules for items that cannot be sent, such as some batteries, liquids or perfumes.
